The Schriever SLS-Screw

The SLS screw is another innovation from Schriever. It is brilliantly suited for components made from light metal and technical plastics with high reinforcement proportions of more than 30%.

SLS Geometry

Advantages of the Schriever SLS:

  • High protection against overwinding
  • Good vibration resistance
  • No chip formation
  • Improved assembly properties
  • Problem-free multiple assembly
  • High movement resistance
  • No risk of locking as a result of the optimum core geometry
  • Low screw-in torque and high overwind torque

Advantages of the Thread’s Asymmetry:

  1. The load flank angle of 30° enables large tightening and breakaway torques, caused by increased thread friction force
  2. Low deformation cross-sections ensure small screw-in torque
  3. The optimum core geometry creates space for deformed materials
  4. Even at the start of assembly, optimum joining is possible through the special adapter end geometry

On request, we can also deliver special forms which deviate from our standards.

Our Service:

For the SLS to be used in the best way for your special purpose, our experts are available to provide you with help and advice. In our laboratory, your applications are optimised in terms of their joining and recommendations for construction are prepared. You receive a free test report.

Corrosion Protection:

he Schriever light metal screws can be produced with all conventional corrosion protection surfaces. For details, please refer to our brochure on the subject of corrosion protection which you can download here.

These screws belong to the S-Connection supply concept.
